Atlanta Zambian Women With Influence
Our Mission: Empowering people through socio-economic programs to help eradicate poverty. When people work together, they can do a world of good. We put this into action. With funds raised from hosting community and other fundraising events, we identify needs and provide direct support to improve the lives of Zambian women and children everywhere.
Education: This is an empowering tool that helps children and people of all ages to change the conditions of their lives. We partner and work with schools to ensure that underprivileged children have the supplies needed to receive the education that they deserve to succeed in life.
Health: When individuals in a community are healthy, its society thrives, and so does the entire nation’s economy. Our goal is to identify and support programs that both enable and empower Zambians to receive quality, equitable, life-changing healthcare services.
The Lukomba Initiative
This program sponsors orphan girls in rural Zambia so that they can receive an education.
Every year, AZWII starts a donation cycle for school-age, female orphan children. Donations made during this event go directly towards buying school supplies for children at Lukomba Primary and Secondary School in Zambia. Every little bit helps – every dollar positively impacts one of these children in a life-changing way. Thank you!
